FAQ's:  Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question you'd like answered?  Ask Daisy!  Just click on the Daisy to email your question and you'll receive a reply.  If your question is one that is asked frequently, we'll add it to the list below.  Thanks for your help!

Q:  Can Girl Scouts wear a sash and vest at the same time?  No, Girl Scouts can wear either their sash or their vest -- never both and they cannot wear two sashes at once.  We suggest that girls put only badges, not patches, on the official uniform piece that they will wear to Girl Scout events.  Girls may wish to start a scrapbook with their patches or sew them onto a Girl Scout sweatshirt.

Q:  What does WAGGGS stand for and do you have to earn the pin?  WAGGGS stands for World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.  Click on the hyperlink to go to the WAGGGS website.  No, it is not an earned pin; however, GSIHC will now be distributing information about the significance of the pin to anyone purchasing it at the Shamrock Shop.
